Who is Councilmember Israel Bustamante?
Councilmember Israel Bustamante is a life-long resident of the City of Granger, a Granger Spartan Alumni, and an enthusiast of serving the communities he serves and belongs to, particularly the youth and families. Councilmember Bustamante in 2018 incepted the Granger Christmas Holiday Parade and events. In his endeavors as a community advocate enthusiast, his approach in bringing community members far and wide stems from observing the joy and bliss of people.
Experience
Councilmember Bustamante served as past President for six (6) years and currently serves as the Vice President of the Granger Lions Club. Additionally, he served as a member of the City of Granger Civil Service Commission and Planning Development Commission. During the holiday seasons, he extends his passion for community involvement through efforts of collaboration with the Lower Valley Christmas Trucks. Furthermore, he engages in conversations and establishes partnerships with Yakima Valley Conference of Governance, Radio KDNA, and Crime Stoppers in efforts to increase access to resources and information to the Granger community and residents.
