How to license your dog with the City.
Dog licenses are due annually on April 1st. The cost per dog is $15 if spayed or nuetured; $30 if not spayed or nuetured. Licenses for four (4) dogs or more are charged a kennel fee of $150. Kennel licenses shall be issued when the pet owner secures a special use permit fee of $250.
All dogs over the age of three (3) months, kept, sheltered, or maintained by any person shall be licensed and registered with the City. Pet or dog owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccine for all license purchases. Every pet owner is required to provide each dog with a collar or harness to which the license tag must be affixed at all times.
Dogs are not to run at large upon the private premises of others, City property, or any other public places within the City of Granger. When your dog or pet leaves the premises, it must be in the immediate control of the pet owner or the owner’s guardian by a leash.
Licenses do not authorize pets or dogs to run at large. Potentially vicious dogs or pets are not allowed to run at large on or within the premises of the owner. If your pet or dog is impounded, the first (1st) dog impound fee is $30. Should your pet or dog be impounded thereafter, the second (2nd) fee is $60, and the third (3rd) fee and thereafter is $100.
Dog or pet license applications must be submitted in person at the Granger City hall located at 102 Main Street., Granger, WA. 98932 to license your dog or pet.
