CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the meeting of March 8, 2022, to order at 7:00 p.m.
FLAG SALUTE
Mayor Trevino lead everyone in the flag salute.
COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL PRESENT

COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT
It was moved by Councilmember Munoz to excuse Councilmember Guzman because she had to leave unexpectedly out of town and Councilmember Isiordia because he had a passing in the family from the Council meeting of March 8, 2022. It was seconded by Councilmember Bustamante
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
Rebecca Barrios-Prevention Coordinator- Granger School District
She informed Council that she is the new Prevention Coordinator and came to invite all community members to attend the Key Lender Event that was taking place on March 26th. The event is to inform community members on how to bring the case number down on kids using drugs and on the amount of days kids miss school.
Hector Franco- La Comite Libre de Radio KDNA
Mr. Franco stated that he had a letter of an incident that occurred on March 3, 2022 at Radio KDNA and the Granger Police Department. He said that he also had a video of the incident. He gave a letter in Spanish to the Council.
NEW BUSINESS
Proclamation- Honoring the Granger Spartans Wrestling Team
Mayor proclaimed the week of March 7th -March 11th to be Granger Boys Wrestling Week. He congratulated them on winning the 1B/2B State Wrestling Championship. He presented them with a framed proclamation.

It was moved by Councilmember Munoz to approve the minutes. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Stonemetz.

It was moved by Councilmember Bustamante to pay the bills of March 8, 2022, in the amount of $44,478.78. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Stonemetz.
