CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the meeting of February 8, 2022, to order at 7:01 p.m.
FLAG SALUTE
Mayor Trevino lead everyone in the flag salute.
COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL PRESENT

COUNCIL MEMBER ABSENT
It was moved by Councilmember Guzman to excuse Councilmember Munoz from the February 8, 2022, meeting because she had to quarantine. It was seconded by Councilmember Isiordia.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
Valdemar Valenzuela from 300 West Blvd N, member of the Granger Lions Club came in and asked Mayor and Council to change the city ordinance regarding security issues. He stated that they have been losing money because no one wants to rent the hall because now security is required for an event of 50 people or more. Mayor asked Mr. Valenzuela to call City Hall to schedule a meeting.
Jim Roberts from 550 Stevens Rd, member of the Granger Lions Club came in and informed Council that he did his research, and all the other cities only require security when alcohol is served. Granger is the only one that is requiring security whether alcohol is served or not.
NEW BUSINESS
ARAMARK Service Agreement
It was moved by Councilmember Isiordia to enter in an agreement with ARAMARK Services to provide rugs to City Hall, Police Department, and the Foyer. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Stonemetz.

TIB Consultant Agreement for Granger- Main Street Phase 1 with HLA project #22046E
It was moved by Councilmember Guzman to enter in to the Transportation Improvement Board Consultant Agreement with HLA, Project #22046E for the design phase for Main Street Phase 1. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Isiordia.
MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
Letter of Agreement between the City of Granger & Teamsters Local 760 to increase Code Enforcement Officer’s wage from $22.29 per hour to $25.29 per hour.
It was moved by Councilmember Isiordia to approve the letter of agreement between the City of Granger & Teamsters Local 760 to increase Code Enforcements Officer’s wage from $22.29 per hour to $25.29 per hour. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Bustamante.

Councilmember Guzman informed Council that she is a board member for the TIB and said that TIB had been awarded $16 million in grants and when she had more information she would announce it to Council.
