CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Trevino called the meeting of June 22, 2021 to order at 7:01 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING – SIX YEAR STREET PLAN

Mayor Trevino opened the Public Hearing on the Six Year Street Plan at 7:32 and then turned the meeting over to the Public Works Director to explain this year’s plan.  Jodie explained that this plan lists the different street project the City would like to do.  He said that this plan was basically rolled over with the same projects as last year, stating because of the pandemic, projects were placed on hold.  A question was asked if the funding agencies and amounts listed had already been secured for this project.  Jodie explained that it only meant that would be a possibly funding source and the amount we could possibly request.  Mayor Trevino asked if Council or staff had any other comments or questions.  He then asked the Clerk if anyone had submitted any comments or questions to City Hall.  Hearing none, Mayor Trevino then closed the Public Hearing at 7:04 p.m.

Shoreline Master Program

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to approve the updated Shoreline Master Program as presented   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.

Resolution 2021-05 – Adopt Six Year St. Plan

It was moved by Councilman Isiordia to adopt Resolution 2021-05, A Resolution adopting a Revised and Extended Comprehensive Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for the City of Granger.   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman.

Resolution 2021-06- Acceptance of Dean Avenue Project – Phase 2

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to adopt Resolution 2021-06, A Resolution of the City of Granger, Washington accepting Completion of the Dean Avenue Watermain Improvement-Phase 2 Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.

Axon Contract – Tasers Expenditure Request

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to enter into Axons Master Service and Purchasing Agreement in the amount of $32,569.62, which extends over a five year period.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

Fire Truck Down Payment

It was moved by Councilman Isiordia to approve the Request for Expenditure of $40,000 to be used as a security deposit for the new fire truck.    Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.
